Gustavo`s Mexican Grill in Crestwood

I know we are in the middle of covid-19, but the food we ordered made my husband and I sick. Our order was wrong too. And it was expensive 2 dinners with a drink. $66.00 and when we drove home, our dessert was not in the bag. Sorry OC. I wasn't impressed.

Fantasic service from Luis(spell check required). Food came out hot and fast. Minimum wait. Did I mention the service? Gustavo came by at the end of our meal to check on us. This is an Oldham county treasure.

Ate there with my family last night after a wedding. We waited on food for over two hours. Everyone is puking. Definitely food poisoning. Just do yourself a favor and skip this place.

If you're reading reviews trying to find a good spot to have lunch or dinner, stop right here. Gustavo's is really good food, and the kitchen is always quick. Good service too. Quickly growing to be my go-to spot for Mexican cuisine.

The menu was overwhelmingly massive and unnecessary in my opinion. It complicates choices and many things are repetitive with similar dishes simply differing buy one ingredient. Overall, what I ordered was delicious. Service was pretty good too.

They didn't know anything about Midori (for margaritas), but offered to find out about Midori and have it available for the next time I come in. Good salesmanship! I had a Lime Margarita instead (Tuesday special). Lots of patrons, but not over-crowded. Food was good. Service was excellent.

Good menu selection, more then adequate food selection portions for the two of us, excellent waiter, lightning fast , hot, tasty food from the kitchen. What's not to like? We will certainly visit again. Steve & Norma C.

I selected a chimichanga and asked for a substitution of scallops for a different seafood. The entree was accompanied by guacamole, refried beans, fried rice, pico de gallons, and a small dollop of sour cream. I also drank a house margarita. The chef was able to make the change. The scallops were cooked perfectly -- tender but not raw. Everything was delicious and the textures were great. The drink was also on point. Prompt and friendly service. A!

I wish I could rate this place more than once. I've been here a bunch of times and my family has had great service, excellent food (fast!), and an overall great experience every single time, hands down the best decision for Mexican cuisine. I typically find one thing at a restaurant I like and that's what I order, but I've ordered almost everything in the menu. A step above the rest for sure. These ladies and gentlemen do their best. If you're on the fence about coming here, just go. Great atmosphere, crazy good service, excellent food, nice drinks, fun music, and nice people. Michos is awesome BTW.

Gustavo's was packed, even on a week night. It is very popular in our community. I have to say that the chips and salsa were great, and the staff courteous and attentive. We went for our love of fajitas, and purchased a double order, but these just were not for me. The skillet was piled high with peppers, onions and tiny pieces of chicken. There were also lots of tomatoes, which made everything juicy, and just was not my thing. I was charged an additional $2.99 because shredded cheese is not included when you order fajitas. $3 for a cup of cheese! I realize this is way too much talk about fajitas, but this is the only menu item we tried. Based on the popularity of this establishment, I would be willing to try again, but obviously try something else on the menu. Maybe I should bring my own cheese next time ...

We went during a non busy hour and everything was wonderful. Service was speedy and everything was delicious. I got the shrimp tacos and they were perfection. The shrimp wasn't over cooked and the chipotle sauce was amazing. Guacamole was also very fresh and chunky. Definitely check it out if you are in the area and have a craving for Mexican.

We love the food and people at Gustavo's! Their food is authentic and delicious and there is something for everyone. We have met Gustavo several times and he is a very humble and genuine person. The staff at Gustavo's is always friendly and helpful. Love supporting a great local restaurant!

Great food and exceptionally quick service. Always a friendly environment and everyone is very helpful.The fish tacos are excellent and the sauce they come with it is the best I've had. Match that with a tall margarita and you've got a great dinner!

Everything tasted good but I ordered a crab chimi and shrimp was delivered. I was really disappointed. It was delivered by Postmates and I never received an email/text that asked about my experience like Ubereats and others. So bottom line... no way to comment

Gustavo's is such a fun place to gather with friends or family, to eat and to drink. I've celebrated many birthdays here, for myself and for others. The staff is kind and the service is crazy fast. I love the festive atmosphere and the portions are definitely fair. Personally I always end up with leftovers to take home for later so that's always a plus!

I do like this location a lot more than the one lagrange because it's usually less busy around the time me and my friends like to go out for drinks. Still always great service and delicious food

Well, I have been here a couple of times and they were better. Tonight I had burritos that were barely warm...but didn't see our waiter for so long..I just ate it. Also the chips were so hard. I am going to say it was just an off night.

I ordered the Mariscolondia. Fish, shrimp and, scallops. Great Dish!
